自然光
自然光又称“天然光”，不直接显示偏振现象的。它包括了垂直于光波传播方向的所有可能的振动方向，所以不显示出偏振性。从普通光源直接发出的天然光是无数偏振光的无规则集合，所以直接观察时不能发现光强偏于哪一个方向。这种沿着各个方向振动的光波强度都相同的光叫做自然光。光又称“可见光”。一般自然光由七种颜色光组成，分别是：红、橙、黄、绿、蓝、靛、紫。
