欧体，始祖欧阳询生于南朝陈武帝永定元年（557），卒于唐太宗贞观十五年（641），字信本，潭州临湘人（今湖南）。以楷书和行书著称。为书法史上第一大楷书家，其字体被称为"欧体"，与颜（真卿）体，柳（公权）体，赵（孟頫）体并驾齐驱。欧体是唐代大书法家欧阳询创作的一种楷书字体，其特点是方圆兼施，以方为主，点画劲挺，笔力凝聚。既欹侧险峻，又严谨工整。欹侧中保持稳健，紧凑中不失疏朗。
