扁率 oblateness 旋转椭球的形状和大小是由子午椭圆的五个基本几何参数来决定的：椭圆的长半轴 a 椭圆的短半轴 b 椭圆的扁率 alpha=(a-b)/a 椭圆的第一偏心率e=(a2-b2)0.5/a 椭圆的第二偏心率 e'=(a2-b2)0.5/b 可见，扁率是长短半轴的差值，再与长半轴的比值，其值介于0和1之间扁率反映了椭球体的扁平程度如地球赤道半径约为6378.140km，极半径约为6356.755km，则地球的扁率为 (6378.140-6356.755)/6378.140=1/298.257
