Palace4at Erlitou was a large building complex consisting of a main hall, an eastern side hall and a short veranda.

The principal hall flanked by Hanfang Pavilion and Zhuijin Pavilion connecting each other via a corridor, links with the two verandas in the fore-court.

I let the building be seen as one volume by employing a hip roof and laid the second floor of the housing in the hipped or inclined section.
