地基土
地基土可粗略地分为无粘性土和粘性土。一般地说，当基础位于无粘性土上时，采用文克尔地基模型还是比较适当的，特别是当基础比较柔软，又受有局部( 集中) 荷载时。当埋深较大，土又比较紧密( 如密砂) 时，除可采用基床系数经深度修正的文克尔地基模型外，也可采用连续性模型。应指出的是，比较普遍的看法认为用连续性模型得到的解，比用文克尔地基模型得到的解更符合实际。
