二十四史
二十四史，中国古代各朝撰写的二十四部史书的总称，是被历来的朝代纳为正统的史书，故又称“正史”。它上起传说中的黄帝，止于明朝崇祯十七年（1644年），计3213卷，约4000万字，且统一使用分本纪、列传的纪传体编写。“正史”这个名称见于《隋书·经籍志》：“世有著述，皆拟班、马，以为正史。”当乾隆皇帝钦定“二十四史”以后，“正史”一称就被“二十四史”所专有，取得了“正统”史书的地位。
