In sodium bicarbonate group, large amounts of inflammatory ooze was found to adhere to the surface, with necrosis of hair follicles, a few lymph cells infiltrated and hyperemia oedema disappeared.

Compared with immunosuppressed control group, there were less alveolar interstitial lymphocytes, foamy intra-alveolar exudate and inflammation of lung tissue in rats of drug treatment groups.
