The technique of fabricating concave gratings in PMMA by double X-ray exposures is described.

This paper presents the studies of the dependence of soft X-ray emission on atomic-number and laser intensities by using a new diagnostic tool, pinhole transmission grating spectrograph (PTGS).

Meanwhile, some new conclusions in favor of designs on metal grating under grazing incidence in soft X-ray region were obtained.
