家族性地中海热
家族性地中海热（FMF）是一种病因不明的自发的常染色体隐性遗传疾病，大多数发生于地中海地区血统的人种，尤其是非中欧的犹太人、亚美尼亚人、土耳其人、黎凡特阿拉伯人。多为儿童起病。相关的基因因地中海热而得名被称作MEFV基因，它编码一种蛋白，该蛋白的作用是能够下调炎症反应。如果该基因发生突变，则不能发挥这一调节作用，患者以反复发热和腹膜炎为特征。
