声振动
当低密度气体稳定地横向流过管束时，在与流动方向及管子轴线都垂直的方向上形成声学驻波。这种声学驻波在壳体内壁（即空腔）之间穿过管束来回反射，能量不能往外界传播，而流动场的漩涡脱落或冲击的能量却不断地输入。当声学驻波的频率与空腔的固有频率或漩涡脱落频率一致时，便激发起声学驻波的振动，从而产生强烈的噪声，同时，气体在壳侧的压力降也会有很大的增加。如果流入壳程的是液体，因液体中的声速很高，故不会发生振动。因此，一般声学驻波激发的振动在壳程流体为液体的换热器中并不重要。
