土层
土层是土壤剖面中与地面大致平行的一层土壤。每一个土层，与其上下的土层，在颜色、结构、质地、结持力、有机体的类型和数量以及酸碱度等方面均有明显差异，反映出各土层的物理、化学、生物学特性的不同。但在同一个土壤剖面中，各土层在发生上都是相互紧密联系、有连续性的。土层产生的原因有两种：一种是自然原因形成的土层，另一种是耕种原因形成的土层。
