A method of designing slowly-scanning circuits is described and a new type of deflection coil that can offer a uniform deflecting magnetic field is proposed.

A dispersion correcting circuit of SLO is presented. The circuit can compensate achromatization produced by the acoustooptic deflector and enhance sharpness of the colour image for better diagnosis.

Used in s correction of horizontal deflection current in TVs.
