偏振计
由于偏振特性是目标的一个重要的物理特性，其中蕴涵着遥感目标的各种信息。大多数遥感仪器是以探测目标的光谱辐射强度来提取各种有用信息。偏振辐射事实上蕴涵目标本身各类丰富信息。根据测量到的光偏振特性反推（解调）出物体的某些特征，确定出此种物体的存在或存在的状态，这便是偏振遥感的物理基础。而偏振计在偏振遥感中起着相当重要作用。
