The credit is 10% of the cost of the building materials (labor excluded) for insulation, exteriorwindows and doors that meet Energy Star requirements, and roofs (metal roofs with pigmented coating, or asphalt roofs with cooling granules).
The open workspace design of the building brings exterior views to 90 percent of employee work spaces, and the coated windows help regulate the interior temperature without boosting energy costs.
