This year the editor and deputy editor of Uwasa no Shinso (a magazine whose name means "the truth behind rumors") were stabbed by gangsters after publishing allegations that Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori was arrested at a houseof ill-repute as a youth. (They were seriously wounded but are now back on the job).
