abstract:A first-person shooter engine is a video game engine specialized for simulating 3D environments for use in a first-person shooter video game. First-person refers to the view where the players see the world from the eyes of their characters.
Like the previous Alien games, AvP will be a first-person shooter -- except that this game will boast a true 3D engine. 3D-accelerator effects representing Alien and Predator vision will give these characters the sensory advantage over the third character, a human marine.
