Incentives matter: with higher risk charges on banks' trading books, bankers would become more discerning about how they put their money to work, and less prone to make dangerous bets in pursuit of huge bonuses.
Sounds good, but it lives or dies based on how good these folks are at measuring specific risk, and how well ZestCash manages its own costs of managing discerning loan officers who only work over the telephone.
